

One of the best, challenging, full body workouts has to be boxing. Using your whole body and mind together, is the pinnacle of a workout. You will learn new skills using functional movements, develop mental strength and build an incredible level of fitness you didn’t think was possible. Boxing is for everyone at all levels of fitness. Something I often hear people say before getting involved is that they have to get fit before they start. Not true! With the correct programme, boxing can get you fitter more quickly than the majority of fitness classes.
Having followed boxing for many years, worked with many coaches and trained for 15 years, it is clear that people have their own style. I believe that it is crucial not to employ a one size fits all to instructing boxing technique, I will draw out your strengths and improve the weaknesses in your style. You will see that from our current and previous world champions in Amir Khan, Ricky Hatton, David Haye and Joe Calzaghe they are all totally unique and you will be too. This is because their coaches have brought the best out in them and I intend to do that for you whilst making the sessions fun and enjoyable!
The training will consist of technical work, punching drills, pad work, interval training, boxing tailored strength and conditioning circuits and for those looking for a more adrenalin fuelled workout, sparring. This will take your training and mental toughness to a whole new level! We could then draw out your competitive side, put it to the test and take part in a ‘White Collar Boxing’. Here your friends, family and colleagues will be able to share one to the most thrilling experiences of your life!
